Check out the views from the Shanghai World Financial Services Centre. The observation deck is still the tallest one in the entire world (because the one at the Burj Dubai was not put anywhere near the top of that tower)
This was without a doubt the best place I went in Shanghai. It was over 18 euro to go up (which is pretty expensive for China) but it was worth every cent and more.
