I've finished my exams and have still never seen a proper match live except when I sneaked to Wimbledon a few years ago when we were in London on a school trip and I could just see through the tunnel a doubles match but I saw some on the outside courts.

Will everything be sold out by now? Actually I just remembered my passport has expired :help:

Oh well, maybe Wimbledon :hearts:

Sorry that you aren't able to be in Paris - I was over at Roland Garros this morning to take a few pictures. I'm not going until Friday but it really got me in the mood.

Yes. :p When I realised my exams wouldn't clash, circa two months ago, everything was pretty much booked up then. ;)

I just wrote a blog post about my visit to Roland Garros this morning and another one about a behind the scenes visit that I did a couple of weeks ago if you want to have a feel for the tournament that you won't get on t.v. Oh, and there's another post that shows some rooftop tennis at Galeries Lafayette for people who don't have tickets for the tournament.

Great Blog Mary

Thanks!

It looks as if I may have an extra ticket for center court on Friday. It was my husband's and I thought that my niece was going to come from Switzerland to go to Roland Garros with me...but I still haven't heard from her. I would rather sell the ticket to a real tennis fan for the price that I paid for it than to one of the scalpers. If you know of anyone in Paris who is looking for a single ticket for Friday, let me know.

Wimbledon would be my top choice for tennis tournaments. I hope that it works out for you to go.
