Ndjamena Zinaida Naaumy def. Julie Saville 4-6, 7-5, 7-5
Ndjamena won this tight battle against the number five in the world.

Klentjie Jantjes def. Noppawan Lertroo-Alungkarn 2-6, 7-5, 6-4
Jantjes came back from 2-6, 3-5 and turned it all around against the Thai.

Maria Broseghini def. Zaelly Ircha 6-4, 6-4
Maria, top in doubles, starts winning singles matches all of a sudden. Zaelly was awful.

Singles Quarter Finals Top Half

Veronica Olivier def. Noemi Baldini 6-4, 6-3
Veronica was awful, Noemi was practically absent. She only won points when her doubles partner double-faulted. Veronica keeps her chance for number one alive.

Anna Smith def. Jawaskraya Loordinia 5-7, 7-5, 7-6(4)
Anna fought past the Malaysian beauty in a tough three-setter and hopes to destroy Veronica's chances to overtake her BFF Xhakalinda's number one rank.

Doubles Semi Final Top Half

Jantjes/Saville def. [1]Broseghini/Naaumy 4-6, 7-6(5), [10-7]
Oh my. What a shocker. The top seeds were in full control of the match leading 6-4, 5-3 and having MPs at 5-3, 5-4 and 6-5. In the tie-break they went for a 4-0 and 5-1 lead before they completely broke down and lost the match. Second doubles final in a row for Julie Saville.

Anna upsets Veronica, one of the two remaining contenders for the number one ranking. Olivier will still be one of the top three seeds at Roland Garros.

Incredibly easy win for the unknown juniors Carol and Kerstin. Veronica was too frustrated after her singles loss and Noemi was practically absent.

Anna comes back from the brink of being ousted and saves Xhakalinda from losing the number one spot. Mélina still finds herself in the top three after this tournament.

Another straight sets win for the surprising wild card team. Will they team up for Roland Garros again? They would almost be the favorites.

Very happy to win the doubles title. Carol Chan finally find her feet on clay court and the junior FWTT tour. Really happy to get the title with my friend, though she is a misery still. We beat the second seed too. Exteremly happy!!! :)
