Nice matches in the Fed Cup to warm her up for this :cheer:

Fed Cup had a higher priority for her than this tournament. Also I don't think she's able yet to beat Jankovic every time.

well, it seems like Petko put to much pressure on herself before the match
i also think there was a bit too much press stuff for her on Monday
but thanks god she was able to turn it around after the horrible first set.

I don´t think she can beat JJ today again, but if she beat her again = top15 in the Ranking :)

Lost 1st set 6-3, but 4-0 ahead in 2nd set :)

Hope she keeps this 2nd set form going, love to see her win and especially against Jankovic :)

Ja auf 15, 50 Punkte werden angerechnet, Cincinnati fliegt aus der Best-of-16 Wertung mit 70 Punkten raus.

Bad loss, but she looked so so tired. Plus Caro played at a crazy good level in 2nd set, she controlled most points and hit lot more winners than usual.
Can't blame Petko for this loss, it was just that Caro who is world no 1, played like a real no 1 for 2nd set. Impossible to deal with that :(

It crossed my mind, even then I really wish she'd lost 2-6 6-2 6-1 or something instead of losing in straight sets... Hopefully she'll get another shot at RG.

These days are behind her. She was tired like against Sharapova. At some point her control over the match derailed, while the opponent got significantly better. She isn't able yet to refocus in such situations, when she's as well physically not at her best.

i expected such a scoreline after the missed opportunities in 1st Set.
but it was a good week for her, she was able to beat JJ and learned to handle the media-pressure
she will learn from this week again :)

Been in the Stuttgart press room all week. Never really liked her before, but she has won me over so much this week. We've been cracking up so much in her press conferences. After she lost she came into the press room in a wheelchair and waved at me, it was so hilarious.

It was great to see her live in Stuttgart, and I had great seats, I was so close I could hear her talk with herself  She was saying stuff like "Jetzt reiss dich zusammen!" and "Was mach ich denn für ne Scheisse"

On Monday she actually sat just three rows in front of me together with her coach. It was funny how in between breaks people kept going up to her to ask for autographs and photos. Then she got a call and left in a hurry.

Anyway I think she can be really proud of herself, she did great (despite the loss to Wozniacki) :worship:

@Carole Bouchard (http://twitter.com/#!/carole_bouchard/status/62141073149014017) : Andrea Petkovic is going to work with Heinz Gunthardt. Not on a daily basis. Interesting !
This is great news, right? :D

it´s not a news, at least for me
on german TV the commentator said he will be a adviser in her team, probably because her coach Petar Popovic is still a young coach, and so it´s good for him to get some advise from someone like Heinz Günthard

na hoffentlich läßt sich Petko auch was sagen und reagiert nicht gleich so bockig wie Ivanovic oder Dokic...

Petko is hungry to learn, and she want to work hard, so i really believe this is really good for her.
sure, there is no guarantee for progress in her game, but i think it´s a smart move to give it a try
