Wozniacki won 5 of the last 6 Tier I's. She is going to be the favorite.
She was injured at Charleston last year. Healthy this year

Those were hard court tournaments though. She's definitely not as good on red clay.

I can see Jelena getting a QF, SF, and F (in no particular order) before winning Brussels.

Her best Tier I result before 2010 Rogers Cup was at Madrid. I thought she looked fine at Charleston, and expect her to play her normal game on red clay

Hard to tell.

But who's gonna win 5th Slam Fes?

Dokic, if she recovers from her 2 day exhaustion by Monday.

I thought she looked fine at Charleston, and expect her to play her normal game on red clay

And her normal game has yielded her ZERO TITLES on this surface on any tour level.

Anyways.

Why is not one making predictions for all the titles? The thread starter was thoughtful enough to post nearly all the players' schedules.

I expect "the usual suspects" to go deep, but who knows, maybe MJMS is going to win one, preferable Madrid ofcause :)

Stuttgart is clay, but indoor so kind of a strange clay, still i think it will be pretty open, Stosur has a great shot here
Madrid is a strange red clay court because is so much faster than avarage clay courts, that's why a ballbasher won last year :oh: i can see someone else making a fluke run here.
Rome: hard to tell so early...it would be awesome if Fran and Flavia have great runs here, but it's pretty hard to happen...i think Caro will be the favourite
Bruxelles: Alex :yeah:
FO:  it's gonna be once again really open...most will depend on draw and random upsets

Obviously it's pretty open, but I believe Schiavone has a good shot at winning Rome. She will give it all to clinch that this year.

Stuttgart: Wozniacki
Madrid: Stosur
Rome: Schiavone
Bruxelles: Jankovic

Why is not one making predictions for all the titles?

Because there's no way to predict WTA clay results in advance.

It really comes down to the draw more than any other surface because there's several people who could go deep IF they don't meet certain players.

Not to mention no one has seen anyone(relevant) player yet on red clay this year, so we don't know who will catch form & confidence(so everyone can bandwagon them).

Last year started with Stosur in Charleston and Henin in Stuttgart, then went random.
Rezai winning Madrid is a strange one.

I expect much more normalcy in 2011. Continuing the tour post Wimbledon, which has been very consistent

Wozniacki could realistically win them all!
