Not bad at all from Sara either, except for the middle of the 2nd set which went just way too quickly. Postive winner/ue ratio from both and it looked like that kind of match.
Vika is one of the best returners on tour, there was no way this was not gonna be tough for Sara, should have maybe tried a bit more variety (and not hit every halfcourtball she got right at Vika, argh!) but I'm not sure if she even got the chance for that.

Win the doubles ;)

The match was pretty good I thought, but Vika was by far the better player and the win was never in doubt. Hopefully a win in the final as well to take the first clay title of her career :D

This has been a great tournament for Viktoria so far but I think it is far too early to consider her a favourite to win at Roland Garros. No disrespect to the other players at Marbella but the field will be much tougher for Viktoria during the rest of her clay season. If she can play like this at Madrid and/or Rome then maybe she can be considered one of the favourites to win the French Open.
