It's unbelievable how Shuai still hasn't won a title yet. :o

Anyway if Shuai keeps this form up for the entire year she'll be very close to the Top 10. The rest of the year she only has any real points to defend in Estoril SF and US Open 3R. Last year she missed Roland Garros, Wimbledon and all the US hardcourt events leading up to the US Open, due to injury, and didn't win a single match on the WTA from after US Open until 2011 (she only played three events post US Open...I think she was injured a bit). So she has so many points to gain!

Honestly, it's taking me a while to warm up to Peng since she austed JJ in Australia earlier this year, but wow, you can't deny her amazing results.

What brought about this turnaround? I'm really curious.

Great for Shuai--welcome to the top 20 soon (hopefully!).

I didn't realise Peng's record this year was that good. Surprising with that many wins she is only #11 in the race.

Probably this. She defends better now. Plus, she seems to have taken a bit of pace off her shots and goes for consistency instead

Now, she has to stop losing those close matches against the top players, especially in the latter stages of tournaments

Ok if this was a competition I was engaged in whitout I had any knowledge about it then it made me realize to retire so that Goldy in addition of having and persistently boasting a current #1 doesn't keep breaking me down any further in here...

He deserves the spotlight... I'm an old man now and his freshness, simplicity... genius and humbleness... sense of devotement have never ever been within my reach in all I've tried from my time here... Humiliated. Bridge. Jump. Dead.

If it's any consolation to your efforts, you are clearly more insane than Goldenlox. Goldy just happens to be the most obsessive poster the board has ever known.
