That´s bad. Daniela had a very open draw and she could take the advantage. She led 4-1 in first and lost, then she had 7 BP´s in the third game of second set, she wasted it and then got broken. I could imagine how the match looked as it was not for the first time such scenario happened in Daniela´s match

No. Just no. That was such a great Tennis day with Goerges and Vesnina winning and now Danka lost a match she shouldn't have lost. I mean we all know Danka but I never expected a straight set loss to McHale... I'm truly disappointed, she had a great chance to reach the QF here and she threw it away. On the other hand McHale must be playing well, had a good result at IW and now winning against Kleybs and Danka back-to-back. I've never seen her play so I'm looking forward to her QF :)

She has a good forehand that she can dictate with and a pretty good serve. She hits with a good amount of pace but I certainly wouldn't say she's a BBB. I've seen her play like three or four different times.

McHale played a round 2 match with Maria Sharapova in Arthur Ashe Stadium at 2009 US Open; it's the round before Maria lost to Melanie Oudin.

Yes, it was her first time playing anyone in the top 30 I believe and only her second top 50 opponent believe. Plus on one of the biggest stages of the world... it was good experience for her and she began to see what she needed to do to advance her game. :) She was most definitely overpowered, but showed glimpses that night of her potential. So proud to see how far she's come!
