Thatīs probably because it all went to the mens side:p

As I actually donīt care about seedings / rankings throughout the tournament and like some crazy results, I donīt like it:p Hopefully Medina Garrigues will do some damage:oh: Or there will be a bit surprising winner:p

Yeah, that's Sveta & Li's section, they've been awful in the US. Li's been awful since the AO

I am not surprised that the top seeds at Miami is still playing after leaving Indian Wells and this is not the first time it has happened. Now, I wonder why that happens? Extra rest, better motivation, Williams Sisters tournament, and etc...?

So much better draw than Indian Wells.

it is because the court is faster, the girls really struggle with the slow and odd bouncing IW court.

Pardon me for my ignorance, but what's the difference between the court in IW and Miami. They look pretty much the same to me.

Miami is slower than IW.

It's not that much to ask of top 10 players to survive two rounds against journeywomen.

Not really...Miami court is extremly slow also on MTF was a discussion if itīs slower then Monte Carlo:spit:...thatīs why some claycourters made upsets in the mens side. When Andujar, Cuevas, Granollers, Ramirez Hidalgo and Berlocq are making upsets on hardcourts you know there is something wrong:p..The same in womens side with Medina Garrigues or Dulgheru although I think Dulgheru still would make it to R4

EDIT: Forgot the best one - Lorenzi :haha:

it is not really the pace it is the bounce. the girls aren't having to play all their shots up round their ears. there is no way the miami courts are slower than IW, you see how the ball shoots through sometimes in miami rather than it just looping up like IW.

both are slow compared to the us open, but miami certainly suits womens tennis more in the lower bounce and slightly quicker court.

Haven't observed even a tiny tad of sign of disaster in IW.:shrug:

IW was not that bad :weirdo: In the last 16, 14 players were seeded, the 2 others being Peng and Safina. Definitely not a disaster.
