That's a former Miami champion, with the winner playing Larsson or Dulgheru, and Sveta played liked she wanted to go home.
And she is going home

Shuai is in really good form. It's weird - I saw her at the US Open and was not impressed but she has played really well since then. I definitely expect her to the reach the quarterfinals and maybe the semis. She seems ready to be the third Chinese player (after Jie and Na) to go deep in a big tournament and get huge attention.

from what i saw, svetlana screwed up a lot of 0-30 games in the first set. I saw that she was hopeless and didn't bother watching the 2nd set. I am guessing she just laid down after screwing up so many chances in the first.

losing to Peng 3 and 1 doesn't bode well for Sexlana and her chances to somehow find a respectable form - hopefully clay will be the well from which Sveta finds her game and form. The tour can't afford yet another talented player to waste her career like that.

Are they also covering the ATP Masters ?

they are primarily focusing on STADIUM Court so you'll see these matches. I am sure that once the sharapova match ends, they'll switch the camera to other courts. But, mainly these. Livescorehunter.com has streams for the other courts if you dont mind the blurry streams.

STADIUM start 11:00 am
[11] S Kuznetsova (RUS) vs S Peng (CHN) - WTA

Not Before 1:00 PM
[3] R Federer (SUI) vs R Stepanek (CZE) - ATP
P Cuevas (URU) vs [8] A Roddick (USA) - ATP
[WC] S Lisicki (GER) vs [16] M Sharapova (RUS) - WTA

Starting at 8:00 PM
[1] R Nadal (ESP) vs K Nishikori (JPN) - ATP
[1] C Wozniacki (DEN) vs [29] D Hantuchova (SVK) - WTA

What is up with Svetlana. She was playing quite well at the start of the year at AO and Dubai. Then since she lost that final, I think she's lost all her matches? You are too good a player for this Sveta!!!

I was wondering in Pattaya City how long Peng would be able to maintain that level of game. I can't say how impressed I am with her. I mean this is really amazing, she always had the quality to perform magnificent but to string together such good results since the beginning of the year is really great. I don't know how she plays on clay but if she can carry this form more or less through the whole year, she should be at least Top 20 :D

Is anyone really surprised by this result? I saw this one coming from a mile away

Peng is heading towards top 20. She barely has anything to defend the rest of the season, just US Open 3R, Estoril SF and Charleston QF. That's pretty much it..

Even in her prime, Kuznetsova relied much more on her serve than most people realised.

Now that she just spins her serves in, she is forced to rally for nearly all the points, and her brainlessness, inconsistency and lazy footwork mean that her chances of winning most of the rallies against any top 40 baseliner are pretty slim. So people saying that this is no surprise are entirely correct.
