I suddenly had this feeling,I hope she could:awww:

I have been saying she could but next round is Henin, if she wins that then I will truly believe she can win it.

P.S, you're a topic/thread whore :p

Yeah, if she plays well enough to beat Henin, anything can happen.

Although if that were to happen, the world would prolly collapse before the end of the tournament.

Let's focus on making even one set competitive with Henin before we talk about winning the title

The minute she feels any pressure, she'll crash out.

She lost 5 games to Rus. That alone disqualifies her.

Sexlana will win this shit then disappear until 2013.

No, Henin will spank her next round.

Jan 19th, 2011, 12:56 AM
No way. Her chances of winning another slam are just like Mugray's chances of winning one on the mens side(zero)

Eh, no. As much as like I Kuz, it just aint happenin... Justine's gonna extend that head to head to... What is it now? 276982136-2?

Apparently not :-)
BTW, count me in on that.

This better not be like that time someone said Bartoli would win Wimbledon and she almost did.

No. And why are people saying if she can beat Henin then she has a chance? Since when is beating Henin the measurement in which we judge players? This isn't 2007.

Henin is her biggest hurdle until semis.

Jan 19th, 2011, 01:09 AM
Interestingly enough she has never been past the QFs in Melbourne, so I would just like her at this point to just make it past the QFs. Would like her to win, but very unlikely.

Well didn't Serena beat her to win the AO last year? And Sammy beat her (and Serena) at the French and very nearly won the title. Whether you like it or not, beating Henin at a grand slam is always going to suggest you're playing well enough to go the whole way.

Not really, we all know what she is capable of. However she started playing well in the US Open at the beginning, then crumbled in the finals. (so i will wait and see first before i comment further)

beating riske and rus is no sign of slam winning form. we can talk if she gets past henin, which i highly doubt.

I hope she beat Justine. :)

Well Henin may not be the standard at the moment, and wont be considered as possibly such until/if she wins a slam again and more tournaments, but she is still probably the favorite to reach the final out of this half and by far the favorite to reach the semis. So if Kuznetsova were by some miracle to beat her she would have a good shot at going far. It is moot though since Kuznetsova will be spanked. And even if it is a close match Henin even today is easily mentally tougher than the headcase.
