Well didn't Serena beat her to win the AO last year? And Sammy beat her (and Serena) at the French and very nearly won the title. Whether you like it or not, beating Henin at a grand slam is always going to suggest you're playing well enough to go the whole way.

Well Henin may not be the standard at the moment, and wont be considered as possibly such until/if she wins a slam again and more tournaments, but she is still probably the favorite to reach the final out of this half and by far the favorite to reach the semis. So if Kuznetsova were by some miracle to beat her she would have a good shot at going far. It is moot though since Kuznetsova will be spanked. And even if it is a close match Henin even today is easily mentally tougher than the headcase.
