WWW: AO R2 [14] Maria Sharapova vs. Virginie RazzanoVartan Jan 17th, 2011, 04:57 AM  MH0861 Jan 17th, 2011, 04:58 AM Razzano still seems a bit rusty, but this could be interesting if she plays well. Lucemferre Jan 17th, 2011, 04:59 AM This could get really ugly if Maria serves like crap. Flavia P. Jan 17th, 2011, 05:02 AM I'll say Maria, because I think it's going to be an dogfight type of match where she wills a victory. If Razzano serves well she could be in with a shot. MrsColinKaep Jan 17th, 2011, 05:05 AM Hopefully Razzano...Go Virginie!! :cheer: floco Jan 17th, 2011, 05:06 AM Virginie has a good record vs top players, here's a chance for her to show she's back! Six Feet Under Jan 17th, 2011, 05:25 AM Masha 0-6 0-5 0-40 RET. Noctis Jan 17th, 2011, 05:29 AM Masha need to serve well thegreendestiny Jan 17th, 2011, 05:33 AM Virginie will humbly take the beating from Mighty Masha. jimmy_the_greek Jan 17th, 2011, 05:36 AM Maria to win 6-4, 6-2 Sassy-Na Jan 17th, 2011, 06:23 AM razzano in 2 :awww: Claycourter Jan 17th, 2011, 06:25 AM Masha 6-2 6-2, not losing a single point on serve :rocker2: goldenlox Jan 17th, 2011, 06:34 AM Kanepi won, Venus looks okay. This is not an easy section of the draw. I think Maria can win round 2, but she has to start playing better to get anywhere this AO Sharapowerr Jan 17th, 2011, 06:37 AM Maria 6-2 6-1 AnDrEi.b Jan 17th, 2011, 06:43 AM Maria in 2 sets Светльо Jan 17th, 2011, 06:48 AM Fortunately, another beatable opponent. Sharapova in 2. Lucemferre Jan 17th, 2011, 06:56 AM Seeing Sharapova like this is painful and I'm not even a big fan of hers.No serve, all struggle.I miss that fierce teen that didn't care who was on the other side of the net. But it's always easier when climbing up the ranking. claypova Jan 17th, 2011, 07:00 AM If Masha can serve well, then a comfortable straight sets win. If Masha serves shit, then its a tough 2 set win  switz Jan 17th, 2011, 07:00 AM If Razzano is anywhere near her best she'll give Sharapova trouble at the moment. it-girl Jan 17th, 2011, 07:04 AM If they both play like they did today then Razzano will win. Maria will have to play better to win this match because Razzano will look to really attack Maria's serve. Not really sure about this one but I went with Razzano in 3. Miss Atomic Bomb Jan 17th, 2011, 08:50 AM Razzano loves a flat ball, she can routine Pova if she is on her game. madmax Jan 17th, 2011, 08:52 AM Razzano loves a flat ball, she can routine Pova if she is on her game. we've heard this a round before too:yawn: Miss Atomic Bomb Jan 17th, 2011, 08:54 AM we've heard this a round before too:yawn: Erm no? I never said Tammy could Sharapova  Unless you are talking about both Tammy and Razzano liking a flatter ball, well thats not my fault. 1987518LPF Jan 17th, 2011, 09:53 AM Virginie Razzano will win in 64 63 Betten Jan 17th, 2011, 10:00 AM I'm not too sure about this. Razzano isn't a scrub and can hang quite well with big hitters. Sharapova in straights, with one tight set. ExXotikal Jan 17th, 2011, 10:05 AM Virge! mariavikafan Jan 17th, 2011, 10:21 AM we've heard this a round before too:yawn: I know, it seems that someone doesn't want a meeting vs Venus:lol: Miss Atomic Bomb Jan 17th, 2011, 10:23 AM I know, it seems that someone doesn't want a meeting vs Venus:lol: I am not particularly keen on them to meet; if Vee reaches the R4, I dont want her to win the match with a 6-2 6-2 score again. I would rather it be agaisnt some competitive opponent, so she can be prepared for her QF. madmax Jan 17th, 2011, 10:31 AM I am not particularly keen on them to meet; if Vee reaches the R4, I dont want her to win the match with a 6-2 6-2 score again. I have a bit more confidence in her now after seeing her determination VS Tammy. mariavikafan Jan 17th, 2011, 10:41 AM I am not particularly keen on them to meet; if Vee reaches the R4, I dont want her to win the match with a 6-2 6-2 score again. I would rather it be agaisnt some competitive opponent, so she can be prepared for her QF. So you don't want Venus to beatdown Maria, it's hard to believe. And yeah, you better say if not when because Petkovic is still there. John. Jan 17th, 2011, 10:41 AM Maria in 2 Marilyn Monheaux Jan 17th, 2011, 10:46 AM Masha Fierce in 2! 6-3, 6-1!:cheer: Sharapovian Jan 17th, 2011, 10:49 AM Maria, hopefully. CWTennis Jan 17th, 2011, 02:54 PM if Maria play like today then Razzano will have a chance to win! SARA-GOAT Jan 17th, 2011, 03:09 PM Allez Virginie :cheer: TennisFan66 Jan 17th, 2011, 03:09 PM If Razzano is able to walk around the court faster than TT was, there is a chance. Being able to run, will increase that chance - outside chance. Sharapova 1.2 / Razzano 6.0 Marionated Jan 17th, 2011, 03:17 PM Virginie in 3. MiiMo Jan 17th, 2011, 03:56 PM if Maria play like today then Razzano will have a chance to win! Actually No. Maria's Match today was quite impressive, she was hitting really well from the baseline and all the errors she commited where during her 3-1 2nd set passage, she lost her concentration. That's it. Obviously, Tamarine had great shots from baseline in certain points and Maria was able to run all over the baseline and Tried with some efficiency to win it. On the other hand, Vesnina did give this match to Razzano. After winning the first set, the Russian was just like absent... She lost all her confidence... Don't know why... To finish, for ones who think Virgine like hard hitters, I remember a match against Wickmayer at the US Open when she was at her top level, she couldn't do anything. And I don't think Wickmayer hits harder than Maria does. I would go for Maria in 2. | |
