It's "Graf" not "Graff"

Anyway, I miss great Steffi. She was all class. Made every tennis match she played worth watching. Truly greatest player of all time who just played tennis and loved the game without being an annoying diva with a sense of self entitlement like some players of today with 1/1000 of her accomplishments.

Voted Graf because she did it without the bs shrieking complaining etc.

5 champs
3 former big chokers
2 big chokers

Only in women's tennis would chokers be missed more than champs.

It's tragic that Dementieva is crushing people like Graf, Seles, HIngis and Navratilova in the poll. Some of that is probably the recentness of her retirement, but still :help: (and I say this as a fan).

Leo_DFP
Jan 13th, 2011, 04:37 PM
It's not fair to include Dementieva as she only hasn't been around for a week and a half. It's too recent. I love her and do already miss her, but it's a different situation from the rest.

Of course Lindsay for me.

even her worst enemy would admit that if she had stayed in tennis, and kept her form of 06-07 and got even better, she would of won a slam by now.

The poll isn't about impact or their level of play, it's about emotions.
The fan favorites aren't always the best players.

It's not fair to include Dementieva as she only hasn't been around for a week and a half. It's too recent. I love her and do already miss her, but it's a different situation from the rest.
