Kiri v Domi  I hate draws like this when 2 of my faves play each other especially in a 1st round :(

If she beats Domi, really love to see her take out our World No 1 :)

The start of the year might be Kiri's best chance to beat Wozniacki, especially since Kiri seems to be playing on a decent level already. Anyway, first she has to get past Cibulkova. :cheer:

Doubles with Vika. :bigclap:

it“s going to be tough but Maria beat Domi last season hope she can do it again even though I like Domi... Caro seems not to be in form but it“s gonna be tough she“s still learning how to play with the new racquet and Maria seems to be in a good shape so it can be very very good match... good luck Maria!

Anyone with serving stats for Kiri. Wondering if she injured her shoulder again in Hong Kong. She served in 40 degree temperatures and noticed something with her right shoulder. Just wondering ??

Well she got in 71% of her 1st serves but won only 52% of points on them. Plus she won only 30% of her 2nd serve points with 6 double faults. :(

Well she got in 71% of her 1st serves but won only 52% of points on them. Plus she won only 30% of her 2nd serve points with 6 double faults. :(

It's obvious she was just trying to get them in and probably focusing on placing it more than power. Her serve looked strong in Hong Kong. I noticed she was stretching it out a lot in the third set, and her facial expressions showed some concern.

I believe 60 percent or better is great for first serve winning percentage and I don't believe she gets in 71 percent of her first serves when she goes for it. She's had shoulder problems last year, and serving in cold temperatures will always make matters worse.

Hopefully, it's nothing serious. If I were a baseball manager, I would have immediately walked out to the mound with my trainer when I first noticed her problem in Hong Kong.

She played bad.. and she didn't seem to care. I don't think people should worry too much she only arrived in Hong Kong Sunday afternoon. I know she can play better and I'm sure she will. Was a good match in doubles anyways.

she played very different in doubles compared to singles. honestly guys kiri didn't play very bad in singles (nowhere near her potential). However cici played extremely well so don't take anything away from her.

guys its still okay...after all she did have good wins over rezai and oudin....although during maria's match her forehand didn't look great, cibi was just smashing it back after she did a forehand, also she didn't put enough on her slice which had her guessing which side cibi was going to hit it to. cibi was more determined to win though, she was training with her coach on the same court 1-1.5 hours before the match, my grandma turned around and said "nice face...chubby body" i think cibbi heared :lol::lol::lol:

Nice, so they can go to Melbourne now and as the weather seems to be weird in Australia, that's better for both of them instead of playing a final saturday or sunday.
