So, it's official!!! We'll be live streaming the Australian Open 2011 qualifying tournament live online for free all over the world from Wednesday, January 12 through to Saturday, January 15. As well as qualifying matches we'll be covering the official tournament draw, Kids Tennis Day and the pre-tournament player press conferences. That's gotta be worth a thumbs up?

Tennis fans will be able to watch Australian Open 2011 qualifying live online for the first time from tomorrow, with the men's and women's qualifying tournaments streamed live on www.australianopen.com in the final countdown to Australian Open 2011.
Streaming will begin at 9.45am on Wednesday 12 January with a preview before qualifying kicks off at 10.00am. Coverage extends through to Saturday 15 January.
The main draw ceremony, Kids Day, an exhibition match and player press conferences will also be streamed, giving fans a new level of Australian Open access and coverage.
Available worldwide on computer, iPhone and iPad at www.australianopen.com/live, the interactive coverage will allow fans to comment via Facebook and tweet their thoughts using the hash-tag "ausopen#".
Streaming will also be available at www.foxsports.com.au, www.yahoo7.com.au, www.livestream.com and the Australian Open facebook page.
"Live streaming will provide fans with comprehensive live coverage and an enhanced experience of the build-up to Australian Open 2011," says multimedia manager Kim Trengove.
The qualifying action will be broadcast from Show Court 3, with wireless camera coverage keeping fans abreast of news and results from Courts 5, 6 and 7 as well as around the grounds at Melbourne Park.
