i think alex has a really bad head to head against everyone. i mean, when she plays someone for the first time, she usually comes up w/ the win, but then when she plays them again, she looses, but here she has never won. she is going to have to come out w/ her "A" game. She can't revert over to a lot of errors. If you make that many, which she knows she is capable of doing, thats when you needs to pull a venus or serena and start to read your notes! come on Alex you can pull an upset here, since by the numbers you arent the favorite!

Looking at the head to head, I think you have to look at just the last two meetings (the Alexandra of 2000) is a different player of today, but the two times they've met this year is important and both matches have been competitive and have gone to three sets, including on clay which is not a surface for Alexandra, but grass is and the match still went to three sets. At the time they played earlier this year Myskina was on a hot streak and Alex wasn't and now their games have flipped flopped. My perdiction is Alex in 3 sets this time around.

i think the problem is that Alex served for the match back in their first meeting and couldn't believe she had lost that match. (back then Myskina was barely ranked in the top 100). so i think Myskina got a mental edge over her, which she's maintained. but Alex seems to be in good form, so..

I SEE IT DIFFERENTLY..Anastacia is a bit flashy and she takes time sometimes to kick in to gear! which is what happened in her last two matches vs Alex.

shes just too solid from the baseline for Alex IMO. even with that cream puff serve i see Anastacia doing it in two sets. :)

Based on how Alex has played the last few weeks; I think I will put money on her. But I can't say I will be shocked if Anastasia pulls off another victory

i thought it was 2-0 anyway!

I hope Alex can finally get the win!

With these players, head to heads dont really influence the outcome that much. Its pretty much whoever shows up on the day that will win, coz they're both pretty erratic throughout the year.

Alex will win if her serve is 'on'.

Good Luck to Anastasia!!!

However, an alex victory will almost solidy Martina finishing at #10 in the ranks...so if alex does win i spose I can deal with that ;) lol

I want alex to win in this match so she can beat Jennifer again. But if she loses to Anastasia then Martina's #10 ranking is in trouble. But Martina is at least number one ( for the next top 10..he-he-he-he-)!
