Barte, doesn't seem like a #1 seed looking at the draw

Boren could be tricky. She did harass Vandeweghe this year

If she passes (presumably) Andersson, it's either..

I mean ALL of the 4 players are tough; Will, Batta, Mosolova, Chan

I feel like this is a death sub group

Then you meet, possibly, Sanchez

Amalgamate

IMO matches to watch:

Will vs. Batta -- Cheer REALLY hard for Batta
Janowicz vs. Hsu
Sanchez vs. Secerbegovic

I am going to go with a Barte vs. Sanchez and Frilling vs. Juricova SF with Barte defeating Frilling in the final.

Amalgamate I love your hate of Will

I don't want to jinx anyone (Hil ) but if I had to predict..
Semifinalists: Barte, Sanchez (can Janowicz or Hsu do damage here?), Ahn , Juricova (although if Gibbs is healthy...you never know).

I think Hsu can do damage honestly. She has had a great fall so far.

what I mean is, she meets tough opponents

Well since this is an only 32 players draw, that's understandable, but.

I'm actually looking forward to the possible Barte vs Mosolova matchup.

Have they met before?

Not Reka.

why not? if the opponents are having a bad day..

moreover if you're not Juricova you need to exchange at least 5 shots with her

per point

Think of the current WTA #1 player ;)

fantic
Nov 4th, 2010, 08:49 AM
I was pretty impressed with Janowicz at Carson. Her shots are pretty flat..And she did win the tougher regional after all.

Does anybody know how Macfarlane & DeBruycker play? Funny, non-participants at AA playing at NIIC  (Janowicz too for that matter)

ACC is having a bad fall season. DeBruycker and Eichkorn eliminated.

And I thought Hsu was winning while watching the live stats

Gator freshmen are not only not too shabby  they seem to vie the #1 recruit with Stanford

Ramos is playing Gibbs?

fantic
Nov 5th, 2010, 04:09 AM
Midwest top 3 all advanced

Ramos vs Gibbs finished in record time, I think :sobbing:
Barte, Burdette, Ahn and Gibbs, easily top 4 positions in the country.
Tsay really shouldn't have come to Stanford :o

Amalgamate should be really mad right now, with Will advancing in BOTH( both hard wins), even beating Barte/Burdette,
ending Barte's 3 consecutive championship wins :worship:
Well, Mosolova, the only 4 time participant at Indoors, a real veteran, is waiting Will tomorrow so don't lose hope Amal

fantic
Nov 5th, 2010, 03:18 PM
Ahn/Gibbs lost again to BU team. shoulda given that WC to Christian/Sanchez :fiery:

And Oklahoma vs Cal ...apparently a battle judging from the score. USC vs CU too.

Will/Oyen take down Tennessee 8-2. Will rallies to beat Mosolova 2-6, 6-4, 6-1. She was down 2-3 in the 3rd before mounting her comeback. Good job, Allie

Poor Amal :sobbing: Will's now officially the nemesis of Barte, also winning at Riviera last season

And ELLIS!! Beating Frilling AND Ahn

Dy also beats Gibbs, but she's struggling against Juricova, would she lose like Riviera semi?

Boren beating Batta such easily by the score..

and UFGatorFan, maybe a new INDOOR champ but CAL WAS the NCAA champ, as you well know :)

So it's up to Clemson duo, I guess

so STAN website says of today;

'Stanford Tennis Continues Play At USTA/ITA National Indoors' :sobbing:

By the way, Juricova advances to Quarterfinal 5 in a row, the number equal
to Cioroch, Coin, Cohen, Miseviciute.
The most in recent history is Grier, Babos, Miller's 6

Also advances to Semi final 5 consecutive times. That's two more than Mijacika (who didn't compete in her senior year)

and Gullickson (not competing this season so far)

fantic
Nov 6th, 2010, 02:51 PM
Now what is with Kissell, targeting Asians  (beating Hsu at Riviera, Chan at Flushing Meadows)

And Muresan consecutive Quarterfinalist (Barte 3 consecutive)
