She has a better chance of tripping and breaking her leg than any of those noobs defeating her.

Oh my, none of those guys, that is almost a certainty.
Huge kudos goes out to Caroline though, she's been playing well recently.

Is this what tennis is about now? Who can stop Woz? That's ridiculous and short sighted.
Oct 4th, 2010, 07:10 AM
None of those :help: Serena.

I'd say an in-form Kvitova although she hasn't showed great form since her Wimbledon run. As good as Kanepi is, I'm not sure she has big enough blows to punch holes into Wozniacki the way Kvitova can.

from that list Kvitova. But in general i would say Vee, Serena and Kim.

Hello new #1 :)
Oct 4th, 2010, 08:19 AM
There already was a thread on this topic :)
I say Kvitova. Kanepi is the only one of the 4 who's never beaten Caro. Errani actually has the best record against her (1-1), but I don't see her beating her again. And Peng is irrelevant now :)
Caro's records against the 4 of them...
2-0 vs. Kanepi
2-1 vs. Kvitova
2-1 vs. Peng
1-1 vs. Errani

Out of these, Pretty Peng.
If given an openended question, the ump who disqualified her in the '05 US Open Juniors, preventing her from finishing the year as #1 @ age 15. :o (18 y.o. Flipper was instead, in her last year of junior eligibility)

Stomach infection :(
Oct 4th, 2010, 07:55 PM
People seem to have forgotten Wimbledon so quickly. And Kanepi is like a new player.
Oct 4th, 2010, 08:44 PM
Kanepi is the onlyone on that list... Oh and of course Caro herself. Forget the stomach infection, the girl is a tough cookie but when you know you're so close to being #1 it's gotta make your knees shake...
Oct 4th, 2010, 09:54 PM
Kanepi, then Kvitova if she plays well.
Oct 4th, 2010, 10:34 PM
Peng already out... but that stomach bug Caroline has can make her life very, very dificult in this tournament
Oct 4th, 2010, 10:42 PM
Kvitova with Kanepi a close second
Oct 4th, 2010, 10:49 PM
Sara for the miracle! :armed:

It's down to Kvitova and Errani and Wozniacki's health now.
Kvitova really seems to be on fire again.

Kvitova may be
Oct 5th, 2010, 01:12 PM
After today I'd say Vesnina. But I guess that's too late for OP...

Kvitova is capable when she is playing well, she bagelled Caro at Wimbledon..
