I actually like Kimiko.. I just saw her previous win against Whatshername. Man, she's forty years old :worship:

Anyway, go Fran (and Kimiko..):bounce:
Fran can go on until forty too. So maybe she'll eventually win a second tournament

Nobody has any info about how the match was against Dulgheru ?
I guess no one in the world saw it except 23 people in the stands

Her match against Kimiko could be excellent. A contrast in styles, and they both know how to construct points. With her variety of spins, I feel Fran is the definite favorite. She also will likely move in on short balls and put points away rather than becoming invested in brainless baseline bashing rallies, like some of Date's recent opponents in Asia.
