As expected. Marion is just too consistent off the ground for 2010 Ana. Would have expected a better performance than this though :o

Keep going Marion, have heard enough from her this year. She makes for entertaining tennis when shes playing well. These fast courts shouldhelp her out a bit. :)

I'm not surprised at all about 6-2 6-1 today's scoreline... only name of winner surprised me :o

WTF Ana :o (actually I don't care about "explanation", b/c for such result any excuse is unacceptable). In Ana worst tradition is when she plays like crap (club level player), her opponents serve often looks Karlovic-like, and exactly that's happen today.

On positive note from this tournament, Ana played yesterday against Kleybanova one of her's best matches in last two years.

delusional,Ana is on another level compared to Kleybanova, she lost to her when she was slumping terribly.Especially the fed cup match was one of the worst she ever played.Under normal circumstances Ana beats her 9/10

that's sadly kinda true when she faces top level players.Match againstAzarenka seemed to be the only exception

You obviously never saw Alisa when she played well. It doesn't happen that often, but when she's on she could wipe the floor with the 2008 Ana, let alone this one.

I don't agree that she would wipe the floor with the 2008 Ana in form. But, most of top 30 players, when on, can wipe the floor with almost every other player that's not on that day. But the reason why they are still top 30 is because they aren't on very often.

Of course, but Alisa impresses me the most because when she's on she has crazy good defence. Forget Kim or JJ, this girl not only returns impossible balls but she also turns them into winners. She's obviously a big hitter so I don't need to mention that her offence is excellent, but when you combine those two aspects, you can just sit and weep if she's playing your fave.

Or mybe she overdosed on it and went all ''Peace, man, peace, let's not fight each other, let's not ajde-allez at each other, we are all winners in our own way, look at the sky and the flowers and little rabbits hopping around...'' on Marion, but Marion wouldn't have it.

Plus, someone's "superb career results" aren't quite mention-worthy if it's not enough even for top35 :tape:

Ok.. maybe you're right, but at least Ana had her moment of glory, some of us still believe she could make some good results in the future. We can't say the same about Jelena. I can't recall her moment of glory.. she's just there. Hanging on.. :p

Truth is - Ana will be remembered and she'll always have her RG title. At least she had her moment.. Jelena just doesn't have what it takes to achieve as much; that's why she had to resort to attention whoring.. something her fans are particularly familiar with. ;)

I think Ana'a lose to Marion 2 & 1 is worst than Daniela's or Dinara's...

I agree. She shouldn't have lost in such a manner. Shameful. :o
