Called it right when the draw came out.

Though, the way Ana played, no one could have predicted that--really amazing stuff.

Alisa played a final, only her 2nd title, yesterday then traveled.
Even if she won, she wasnt go far this week.

Alisa may have been tired from Seoul.. but a really good match by Ana :worship: wish she'd play like that more often.

Her movement, especially to her BH was really exposed today.

But, after last week, you cant expect her to be moving her best:awww::hug:

Ana did what she had to do.She should cruise against players like Kleybanova even playing on 1st gear like today. She played better at the early stages of Usa Open.

I just knew this one was gonna be easy as soon as I saw baby ANci relaxed and all smiles walking out on the court. She's such a pleasure to watch when her game is on.

Good win for Ana. :clap2: It is at least one of her best performances of the year to date. I`m really pleased with how well she did in her service games.

Brutal draw in Japan for Alisa  But in Beijing she has good chance to better use such great shape, like she already do that in Seoul.

Like we all already learn that from 2007-2008, when Ivanovic forehand and serve works very well (like today do) just couple WTA stars can try to handle with that, so that's why this win looks so surprisely routine and easy against such dangerous in-form opponent. Ana is obviously still in Cincinnati/USO shape, and there is no Serena, Venus and Kim (+Maria), so anything can happen with Ana in Tokyo if she stay to play like this, despite fast hardcourts are hers worst surface.

:drive:

good match from Ana.strong serving, good returns...
in the same time she wasn't really tested : flat perf from Alisa, way too slow to stay in the point so Ana had an easy job.

Ana played kick ass tennis, just like she did in Cincy and USO. Yeah, she played like crap against Kim and Dushevina, but even in her best days she had those bad loses in between. She is improving and on her way back! Ajde!!! :bounce:

Have you noticed that Ana didn't said "Ajde" not one single time in the whole match?!

The only fist pumping i noticed was when she hit that amazing passing shot in the second set...

And only 3 bad ball tosses in the whole match?!

Amazing serving... Great performance... :worship:

One more proof she's doing that Ajde and fist pumping thing ONLY to pump herself up and not to distract her opponents.
Today she didn't need that. She was relaxed and confident even before the match started.

Good match from Ana. :yeah:
Solid hitting on FH and a pretty steady BH too. I thought she lost the momentum at the beginning on the 2nd set but Alisa absolutely didn't capitalise on this.
Nice to see Ana at her best level in the higher tournaments. Shit about the draw though :/.
Ajde!

Good for Ana! Hopefully she can build up on this. The true test is how far she'll advance in this tournament and how consistent her form is. I guess Kleyby was tired celebrating her victory.

I love when JJ fans/Ana anti-fans or the other way around try to compliment the one they dislike. It's such an effort. Hilarious guys, sometimes you make me go boom in my head, but sometimes you just make me laugh :spit:

Kleybs could do nothing. :p Like, in the last game of the first set, Ana broke at love, she was murdering Kleybs' serve off both sides, including a delicious forehand winner off Kleybs' serve on SP.
