Clever match by Radwanska. She noticed that Govortsova was missing nearly every single shot when forced to move to her right side, and was dumping into the middle of the net any low bouncing ball that skidded into her FH side, and exploited it relentlessly.

Govortsova really is the destitute man's Azarenka, with a lot of surface similarities in terms of build and strokes. Govortsova actually has a much more powerful serve that wins her quite a few points outright. Some of her weaknesses are fairly obvious (she handles pace quite well, but her footwork is far inferior to Azarenka's), others not as much (like her difficulties in controlling her FH when forced to move into the shot).
