Nov 9th, 2002, 07:24 PM
Thanks for the compliment on the picture. I took it last summer in Los Angeles. Got several dynamic shots of Angie that day. Seems like she has both feet of the ground 75% of the time!

Nov 9th, 2002, 08:44 PM

I shot Cho in Sarasota last Spring. At that time I had never heard of her. She's had some good results since then.

Angie, congrats again! You deserved this 2nd title in senior level as junior! What a sweet closing of 2002! This year has been up and down for you and many fans have doubts about you since your rivals such as Kuznetsova, Vera, Safina, Casanova (?) are all surpassing you in the ranking...You won gold medal in Asian Games for team category hand-in-hand with Wynne but you failed to bring medal for single and only silver for double...As for me, you have grown so much and you have learned a great deal how to be professional athlete. Being in a multi-event like Asian Games is a different condition in which you have pressure especially Indonesia as a country is lack of prospect in getting gold medals...Anyway, I say that you have a great year this year...You raised up to ranked 59 after Shanghai Open and you may climb up to the 70s after Pattaya's title. Again, my hero...big applause for you and congrats from the bottom of my heart! :hearts: :wavey: :wavey: :wavey: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :lick:

Wonderful year for Asian tennis in 2002.
It's fantastic to see another SouthEast Asian
doing the business on tour. I truly think that
the potential of talent in Asia has yet to be
mined for gold. Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam,
Myanmar, mainland China etc...

Nice year for Ms. Cho too.

Congrats Angie, and fans. 2003 should be
a very, very interesting year. :)

Nov 10th, 2002, 12:27 PM
Yes, very nice year for both Angie and Cho... and what a way to end the year Angie!!! :bounce:
