Last year I was there from Sunday thru Saturday, but very briefly on the last day. I stayed about an hour or so, saw the end of the match between Radwanska and Kvitova and a couple of minutes of Wick vs. Pennetta.
I am from Holland as my flag states. Normally the distance between my hometown and Linz is 1050km, but I'll (probably) be picking someone up in Belgium this year, explaining the extra kms. In total I'll be travelling 2400km just to see a tennis tournament.... :weirdo:

I never said I didn't go to 's Hertogenbosch. I've been there many times, including last year and this year (got tickets from Kirilenko and Vesnina :angel:).
This year I also visited Strasbourg again (my favorite tournament BTW) and several ITF tournaments, in previous years I visited Antwerp, Berlin, Bad Gastein amongst others.

Yes, Linz is really nice, that's why I like to come back (I love the Semmeln mit Leberkäse :drool:).

Her ranking would be good enough for direct entry, but Ana didn't enter the tournament before deadline, so she would indeed need a WC to play it now. I just don't think she will ask for a WC.. I am curious to know why the poster mentioned it though.

I think that there are 3 'normal' WCs + 1 which is reserved for a Top10/Top20 (I don't know the current WTA rules) but if nobody wants to take it, then it will just mean that the first player out of MD will make the MD. But that's just a guess ;)

Even some ITFs have hawk-eye. Linz and Luxembourg should stay internationals, while they should add Belgrade, Zurich as premier tournaments beside Moscow for a proper indoor season.

OMG HUUUGEE Loss for the Tournament with Radwanska's denial. This Tournament used to be so great, stupid that Dulgheru should be the top seed :o They should try to hire some players which lost early in Beijing, as Wickmayer, Pavlyuchenkova or Pennetta.

With Alexandra Top seed, I wish Daniela can take this wide open chance and win the title again! This will be the 1st time that Hantuchova returns to Linz after her 2007 title there!!!
