Seems quite a random choice for her?

 Really? She needs to win some matches.. Where is woking?

Jul 12th, 2010, 09:18 PM
Is her hubby not in the UK for a while, hence why she is playing this?

She can use the match wins. :o

A challenger?

Jul 12th, 2010, 09:24 PM
Woking is in Surrey, UK. Not too far from London - you may be right, she might have not gone far after Wimbledon if her husband is about there. It's a 25k challenger yes.

gud for her... hope she can get into groove and have a gud hard court season:angel:

she needs the confidence that her body will hold up for several matches in a row, and of course, the wins. If she has limited injury special entries, then probably a wise move to find some form so she doesn't waste them. And better to be playing hardcourt this week than clay which she hates.

I might pop down for a day and watch, not far from me...

Ooh, I might go and watch. It's really not that far from London. :D

Yeah I suppose she wants to play anything other than clay .. Even though she has won 1st round at Roland garros 2 3 times

she beat an american college player (Claire Bartlett-who plats no.6 at University of Florida) who qualified 6-0,6-2 and lost to Timea Babos in the next round.

Timea is a pretty good junior.
