The only way to lose 13 in a row would be to lead 5-0 then not win a single game after. Has anyone done this before?

That would be very unlucky.

Wasn't Safina close to this in the French Open four years ago? She led Kuznetsova 5-1 and then lost the match 7-5,6-0 :p.

You would lose 19 games in a row.
Edit: oh never mind

lucic did this vs. mchale early this season. went from 3*-2 to 3-6 0-6 and then (after winning her first round match the next week) dropped the first set to mchale 0-6

The only way to lose 13 in a row would be to lead 5-0 then not win a single game after. Has anyone done this before? :lol:What about You talking

For example American WTA player Brie Whitehead starts 2007 season (January-May) losing 90 games in the row (15 bagels in the row), and believe me - she never lead 5-0 in her life

Lindsay was on her way in 2004 in LA when she was down 5-0 to Venus and then led 7-5, 2-0 and Venus retired.

I am pretty sure Capriati came from 0/5 down to beat Barbara Schett 7/5 6/0. Oh jen there were times she was like set points down before she remembered how to win games

I don't think so, I don't remember her ever bagelling Schett. A couple of 6-3 sets though.

You might think the Moscow SF 2000 where Momo led 5-2, then Hingis went up to 7-5 5-0, but the final score was 7-5 6-3.

i think azarenka might have done this against Kvitova but i am not certain. Kvitova was either 5-0 down or 5-2 I am not sure though.

You are maybe onto Wimbledon 1999 Davenport def Schett 7-6 6-1 after Schett was 5-1 leading...

Sabatini almost did it in 1995.. 7-5 6-1, after 0-5 over a Belguim promise Nancy Feber 1993 Wimbledon Junior winner.

I remember Seles was down 0-5 to Angeles Montolio at the French Open once. She came back only to lose the tie-breaker. I think she bagelled Montolio in the second and fed her breadstick in the third. (If memory serves me correctly.... )

Almost...Frazier beat Shvedova 1:6 6:0 6:0 and she was down 5:0 in the fist and I think a point or two away from golden set...

So,she was 13:1

It was 67 63 60 for Seles

Montolio hung in there until 76 33 I think, she may have had some break points to go 43 up, too. After that, she just disappeared

I'm certain Sandrine led 5-1 in the first set before failing to win another game.

Jegiołka def Kremer 5:7 6:3 6:0 at a challenger in Johannesburg in April.
