But the crowd is so small and on such beautifully sunny days in Bastad, too.

Hell, no!
Replace Warsaw with Sopot which is much more of a tennis town and holiday resort. Even much more crowds guaranted than in Bastad. However, the centre court in Warsaw is much bigger than in Bastad so there were as many people as in Bastad on the stand even though the impression was different. :) Another argument - it's not guaranted that so many people would come to Bastad in May as the town is a holiday destination and most of people are there on their vacation - not for tennis I think. :) They wouldn't come to Bastad in May just for a tennis tournament.

Yeah dump Warsaw already.

then they'll have to move ATP Bastad away from summer season, unlikely

Rather them bring Brighton back :)

The attendance seems miles better than those certain so-called Premier/Premier Mandatory events.

They should stick an event in the UK post-Wimbledon. Better :yeah:

San Diego doesn't hold that many people either but it's still one of the best tournaments

Bastad is a great venue. but i dont think mid-May would be good up there.
it always wins the best tourn for ATP 250 series year after year.
