She won but she was stuck in Gear 1-2 the entire match, of course she has the ability to accelerate to Gear 5. Then again it didn't much to win this match. I just love for her to CRUSH this little LATE ones, like 6-1 6-1, that's what I wanted!

Her serve was "aiight", return of serve was LATE as ever and her ground strokes weren't giving me any life at alL!. I'm OVA IT!

so where did the contenders go? Stupid wimbledon did not even consider seeding maria and justine appropriately so they were elimanated by fellow contenders- Don't blame serena for holding up her own when Venus, caro, Kim sam all top 8 seeds melted away.

She seemed tired,sometimes out of breathe.Agree with tennisfann ,the seeds were't appropriate and the good players rapidly eliminated

At this stage of Serena's career it's foolish to expect her to be lights out ever match, every game, every point. Not gonna happen, we'll have to learn to live with this. She now just grooves for two big points here and there and banks on her serve. She accepts this reality and her fans should too.

It's working and might well extend her career a couple of years.
