Oh guess what?? Alex Stevenson is being placed to face Sugiyama... in Jen's Quarter!!

Anyway, except the 2nd round, Jen is going to face the possible opponents who all have beaten her this season in her half of the draw...
Ai Sugiyama
Alexandra Stevenson
Jelena Dokic
Patty Schnyder
and of coz' Amelie Mauresmo!!

Poor Jen... since Wimbledon... nothing has been going well with her!!!

WOW, it is interesting to see Jen this week!

Alex vs Ai would be a great game. Too bad it is just a first round match...

I know Denise I am mad at that! Come on Chanda get inside top 10 I wanna see this historical event happen:) 3 Afriacan American women inside top 10.. wow!:)

can somebody tell me if Alex beats Jennifer again how high will her rank go? Also will she play Jen if she wins her match with AI?

alex would play jennifer in the quarterfinals. jc got a bye and needs to win her 2nd round. alex needs to first beat ai and then iva or dokic.

It is frustrating.

Chanda CAN play top 10 tennis, and sometimes does.

Yet she almost always seems to struggle when it comes to matches against players such as Barbara Schett, Anna Smashnova, etc. Even when Chanda HAS been playing at a higher level than them, she still struggles in matches with them. I don't know why. Though, since she has played them a lot, I guess it is possible they've got her style and techniques figured out better than other players have.

chanda plays doubles somtimes with babsi so babsi knows her game

DeniseM
Oct 14th, 2002, 04:50 AM
Thanks for reminding me. I had forgotten that. And I think they've also played against each other a lot.

Hantuchova vs Dementieva should be good and Momo vs Patty is always close.

Anna gets to the finals of Shanghai, dominates Mikaelian, and then gets injured

I know that was a little random, but whenever I read Mikaelian's name now that is what I think of...

I LOVE YOU ANNA!!! COME BACK AND WIN, BABY!!!!
