Q1. 1Serena-7Radwanska-9Li-16Sharapova
Other Notable Players not in Top16 Seeds: Kuznetsova, Hantuchova

Q2. 3Wozniacki-6Stosur-10Pennetta-14Azarenka
Other Notable Players not in Top16 Seeds: Zheng

Q3. 4Jankovic-8Clijsters-12Petrova-15Wickmayer
Other Notable Players not in Top16 Seeds: Henin

Q4. 2Venus-5Schiavone-11Bartoli-13Peer
Other Notable Players not in Top16 Seeds: Safina, Ivanovic

TOUGHEST QUADRANT is most certainly Serena's.
Serena and Sharapova have Wimbledon titles. Their 4th round match would be like a semifinal.

Next toughest is Venus' quadrant.
Venus is a 5-time Wimbledon winner.
Bartoli is a former finalist, and Safina and Ivanovic are former semifinalists.

Third toughest is where the Belgians are.
Jankovic may be the highest ranked player here, but she's not the favorite to reach the semis.
Henin was a runner-up twice, and Clijsters has been a semifinalist.

Easiest group is where Wozniacki is.
Zheng had the most Wimbledon success amongst the seeds, reaching the semifinals previously.

Q3 is the toughest the Q4 Q1 Q2 is easiest but draw is pretty even overall.
Ps...Li Na will b tougher for Serena than Sharapova.

From toughest to least toughest (though I don't think any of them are hugely tougher like at RG):

Q3 - obviously the big Henin-Clijsters clash here. Plus several other interesting players.
Q2 - lacking in big names, but a lot of depth. An open and competitive quarter.
Q1 - a few notable names, but only Serena and Li in form out of them. Again, hard to go against Serena.
Q4 - pretty much only Venus and nobody else quite on her level. Hard to see her not coming out of it.

Q3 is way tougher than the rest then Q1 - it's well known that both belgians returned to post Wimbledon on their cvs so both are hungry for it. It'll be lights out tennis in the 3rd round for sure. Sharapova has been pretty piss poor in Wimbledon in recent years so t remains to be seen if she'll even reach the 3rd round clash with Williams.

Kim came back to win Wimbledon? :spit:

And also, Maria would meet in the 4th round not 3rd since she's a top 16 seed.

Q1 is tricky;

Defending champion Serena,
Petkovic, who is playing very well,
Na, who won in Brum,
2004 Champion Maria
Perenial Quarterfinalist Radwanska.

Are you joking???

Sharapova hasn't beaten a top 40 player in ages, yet she is somehow supposed to be a tough customer for the reigning Wimbledon champ? Sharapova won 6 years ago! What has she done lately?

And for Venus quarter you mention 'I-have-no-back-Safina' and 'I-have-no-game-Ana' as reasons why Venus quadrant is tough?? Bartoli was a finalist 3 yrs ago. What has she done lately?

Please, they both have cake quarters. It's pretty evenly spread out, but if I were to choose a tough quarter based on current form, it would be 3rd quarter.

Have to agree that the fourth quarter is the easiest.
But honestly, Venus would likely make it out of any quarter as long as Serena isn't in it, so it doesn't really matter who is drawn with her in the first place.
