Would have been a good match to watch.

Good job Marion, impressive that she can just get back into the swing of things when grass comes considering how crap she plays the whole clay court season.

Bad luck Maria.

She's gonna always be a lil thick girl, Like Kuzzy or Serena. But she's in OK Tennis shape. If you're expecting a Samantha type physique...forget it.

I would very much have prefered MJMS to win this match but it was very close and what is most important is that MJMS showed some great from on the grass this week and she looks ready for Wimbledon. Three tough matches against three top 25 players. The perfect preparation for Wimbledon. I can't complain too much.

Well done Marion.

Excellent from Marion, but where's Sammy01 on this thread?????

Two three-set wins in a row, coming back from a set down, and right before a Slam too. But I thought she quits if she has to play three sets, isn't fit and always gets 'injured' right before a Slam:confused:

This, is fitter? :spit:

Don't be mean. Fitness is demonstrated by court performance, not just by 'looks'. She's a phenomenal athlete.

You guys really should shut up about Marion being a fatty patty, blah blah...just look at the scoreline...95 percent of us posters, even those fit ones, would drop dead at the end of a third set of WORLD CLASS TENNIS...not only is it a physical battle that Marion seems to be able to battle through, but also a mental and emotional one...she IS a world class athelete..and yes, perhaps she could be a bit thinner, or more toned, with less body fat, but there is no denying she is FIT.

Oh and I would like to see a lot of those meat heads we see at the gym, with the beatiful muscled bodies attempt anything Marion can do, or last as long as she...it wouldn't happen...

We're talking about womens tennis here, men dont have emotional problems on court.

As for a world class athlete, no chance. You've gone to an extreme to make a point.

Watch some mens and womens tennis, you'll see.

Men dont shit themselves when they're about to win.

Men dont call the trainer when they're losing.

Men dont scream to make some kind of 'statement'.

Men dont cry at the change of ends.

Men dont give up after losing a tie breaker.

1. i've seen matches where they did. or why do they use the word "choker so often over at MTF?

2. they're not allowed to.

3. they don't scream high pitched, but there are enough male players who grunt.

4. no, but they cry after losing GS finals.

5. again, there are enough matches where they do just that.

:help: Which planet are you from? Male Chauvinism 101?

Men crumple under pressure. Men call for timeouts when losing (ask Djoko). Men grunt and shout come ons. Men cry after losing. Men lose matches after losing tiebreakers.

I'm a man, btw. But you're a sexist.
