Sharapova will have a weak serve but who cares? She'll just hold once, and then break Henin everytime. And, she has bigger groundstrokes that Henin.

Watching Sharapova vs. Na Li last week I´ve come to the conclusion that she clearly plays and moves better on clay than on grass these days.

He/She meant that you can't lose in a third set tiebreaker at Wimbledon because the play never goes to a third set tie break.

And is this an anti-jinx thread?

Come on Debby, have some faith.

Agreed. Henin's performance at RG was sloppy. If Sharapova plays like how she played at RG, then Henin is toast because obviously, this is Maria's surface now :o:rolleyes:

You might as well say: If Sharapova plays like how she played against Na Li last week, then she´s toast because obviously, her movement and returns of serve on grass were pretty bad that day.

Love how the scorelines mirror some of the more contentious encounters Justine's had. Poetic justice would be defeating Kim after dominating early, and Kim has matchpoints late in the match. Ah, if only....

Clearly impossible to set any goals for her this year. She is so up-and-down, even at Rosmalen. Irritating how well Kim is playing on the other hand.

I cannot tell if you are trying to be funny or not, its a failed attempt either way.

Plus, if you were realistic, you wouldn't have had her reaching the SFs of her worst slam when she couldn't do the same at her best slam.

I am not trying to be funny  I am very serious, you know, but you are right, it would be funny if Justine wins Wimbledon. Even more unbelievable than Schiavone's run at Paris. :o

Please, she failed at RG, and reached the AO final so now AO > RG, which means faster surfaces > slower surfaces then Wimbledon > RG

True, but she still managed to reach 2 finals, at least 1 other semi, won Eastbourne twice, and won the Dutch grass court warm up tournament. That is not a bad record, considering how many grass court tournaments she has played.

Henin will not win any major again. Because when she retired the main reson for her not nto handle with power tennis. As faras I see,she hs been strugling with her game.At Roland Garros Maria was nearly beatig her;Who knows if the match hadn't been postponed Maria would have won that match.Shortly,if she had used her chance before retiring while #1She would have won.But from now on I dont see her as a threat

And again you are wrong. After the match was postponed, Maria lead 2-0* 0-40 :rolls: Really, only deluded Mashafans think it's because of darkness Maria lost. Not even Serena fans would say that bullshit " blabla if Maria kept playing on the evening against Herpes , she would have won for sure !!!11" anyway

And a finalist of Australian Open who is also a 7-slam-champion will always remain a huge threat on any given surface, to any opponent.
