There was so much tennis going on today so I wasn't able to watch all of this or yesterday's match. But I saw some of both. Mirjana is playing great. Just great. She really wants it really bad and you can feel her passion. Definately the most excited winner I have seen in the last couple of days too. As for her game she is hitting hard but doing it with discipline and she is quite capable of mixing in a change up as well. The serve is a weapon too. Birnerova played very well too in the 2nd set which I saw most of and I was very relieved when Mirjana broke in the 11th game.

Krajicek will indeed be a step up but I am hopeful and think Mirjana has a good chance. This girl so deserves success and I'm starting to hope, and even think, that it is now on the way. :)

she was pretty emotional on the court when she came out on tour, but she's taken it up a notch in her comeback. she really wants back on tour full time :)
