Thats disgusting you had 5-4 30 all and 5-4 deuce and a MP.
and 2-0 in the final set and at 2-1 u had 2 BP and 2-2 u had 2 game points.
There is just no words for how angry and sad i am right now, im pretty sure Jelena wants all her fans to become depressed.

Very sad but she doesn't play enough tournaments and is overweight. That will catch up with her eventually, as it did today.

I was going along tomorrow, to cheer her on, hopefully not my last chance to see her live. She also suffers with depression on and off, so lets not be too harsh. Broke up with her bf/coach recently, did she not?

I couldn't envisage Jelena losing this and in the manner she lost, spurning a match point, multiple game points and break points. She clearly severely lacks fitness and conditioning but really this kind of defeat is unacceptable.

However she needs to keep going and if she is still losing matches like this in 2-3 months time take time to really look at what she is doing in practice and what kind of training she is doing and also really think about whether she really wants to keep playing.

Disgusting result. I guess it's going to take a little longer than a month of hard work to cut it. Too bad I don't have much confidence in Jelena sustaining this level of work. If she turns up at Cuneo 100k and does well, that will say a lot.

Jelena

is anybody surprised she suffers from depression, raised by that monster ? Even when she was ranked high, she always looked very unhappy

It wouldn't be so bad for the fans if she lost 6-3 6-2 but this is like the losses to Razzano, Schruff and Stevenson a few years ago and is just horrible to see.

I don't think things are as bad as that. She lost a few weeks ago in Rome in similar way to Tatishvili, won the first lost a tight second then went away in the decider, but made the quarters in a tournament the next week.

She just needs to find some consistency. This just seems worse because its such an important tournament.

Poor Jelena.
But why is she in such poor shape? :help:

People often eat a lot when they are depressed--many foods create the very brain chemicals that anti-depressants create ie. the chemiclas that depressed brains are lacking. One of the main symptoms of depression is lethargy. She's said before that there are times her depression is so bad, she can't get out of bed. She probably eats a lot and sleeps all day and night when she is really down.

What can anyone say? Is tennis actually good for Jelena? Time is running out and it is a very bad result for her. I do feel very sorry for her as depression is debilitating and horrendous. And results like this wont help.

The boyfriend is still there and her ass looks like 2 pigs doing a jig in a sack. Nothing has change toward her
improving her game so why is everybody so upset that she is not getting results. Same mindless ball bashing and very predictable game.

Everyone knows Jelena's out of shape, we don't need to see it written a thousand times. It's not like she's just lazy though. She took some time off with an injury and split with her coach - her boyfriend's brother who she's been travelling with for 6 years. Adding her depression to the equation, we can't expect her to look great, especially given her history of weight fluctuations.

She's working very hard to get her conditioning back and it's working, but it will take some time.
