Messy, rusty start by Justine but then never in doubt once she got going. Kerber has some good shots and good lower body strength but really is not endearing on the court. Her attitude and demeanor are both foul. :(

InsideOut.

Well, perhaps, you cannot bookmarked on this quote because you did include the phrase "with so many errors" ;) Plenty of errors is fine though if the winners are > the errors. :p

justine played ok. she looked to go forward whenever possible most times successfully. the court is shit though and always has been, lots of odd bounces as usual.

The errors Justine made in this match will be enough for any top 20 player to beat her in two easy sets :) And these winners come against Kerber, who can barely get the ball back :)

Bad first set from both players but Justine raised her game in the second, she'll really need to improve though. It was her first match on grass in 3 years:hug: Good luck in the next round.

Justine http://i40.tinypic.com/v7fitx.jpg

Even though it was your first match on grass in three years, the first set was abysmal. Awful fh. The BH is gone. Serve is so-so. A win is a win, I guess.

But I won't get my hopes up for Wimbledon.

Angelique didn't take any opportunities really. For some reason I always confuse her and Govortsova :weirdo: :help:

Thank God Justine accepted the wild card here and not Eastbourne where it looks like this performance might not have been enough to have got her through the first round:eek:

Justine must have been nervous, playing her first match on grass for three years and a bit down after Roland Garros. It is a bit disturbing that she is making heavy weather of beating players ranked outside the top 50, she really needs some easy wins for a change - the last tournament when she notched up a string of those was Miami.

At least she won and let's hope she improves as the tournament develops because it is horrible worrying about every single match of hers, which seems to be her fans' fate at the moment!

Re Wimbledon, I think a lot will depend on the draw. Justine has more top 20 or top 10 wins than anyone this year but I can't see her getting past either Williams in the last 16 if she gets that far.

I think they do and have similar games. Similar hair too. Haven't seen Olga for a while so whatever.
