I want to thank...

I'm a belgian and this year I had a terrific tennisyear as a fan of all belgian tennisplayers... First of all we had the final at Roland Garros for Kim and the final at Wimbledon for Justine... They both won three titles this year and made it to the semis and the quarters in many other tournaments... It was great to see those girls win their matches, one after another... But we also had Xavier Malisse on the ATP-tour who's back on track and who will be a top-20 player at the end of next year I think... <br />It was sad seeing Sabine Appelmans, Dominique Van Roost, Stéphanie Devillé, Filip Dewulf, Johan Van Herck, Kris Goossens, Christophe Van Garsse to quit their international career, but I think we have enough talent to overtake their role...

So, I really want to say THANKS to especially Kim, Justine and Xavier for all those exciting moments you gave me this year! I can't wait till next year when you'll proove you are worth it!

Just one remark... Next week... We have the Fed Cup and can you imagine what will happen in Belgium when you two girls, bring that trophee home?! It would be so nice and for me... You two deserve it... So, go for it, my little girls...

Actually, I e-mailed the WTA and they said that Stephanie De Villé has NOT retired yet! She just hasn't played since March (ITF-Amiens)... <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <br />I wonder.. is she maybe injured? She's still in the rankings too, so maybe she is.
