BTW: Either Groth, Rodionova, Kleybanova, Shvedova will make the quarters.

Sybille and Nina + Olga and Dani are 2nd round matches, the rest are in the third round.

Wide open!

Jelena really has no excuse to not make the SF. But I wouldn't mind it if Yanina snuck in.

Logically it should be JJ but this RG draw has been falling apart since day one so who knows

I think JJ but don't count out Alisa either.

If Dani can beat Govortsova and Wickmayer (stretch I know) she is 2-0 against JJ on clay this season. She'd being going in confident and could get the job done. Its a great chance for her.

Now they have a fairly easy to the quarters (for one of them )

Seeds in that section: Dinara, Aga, Vera.

JJ or Alisa:hearts:

They had the a fairly easy draw

Since when Vera and Aga are considered as non-contenders on clay? As for me, it's not like the easiest draw

Actually it has not. In the bottom half 13 of 16 seeds are in the 3rd round and the two real upset losses MJMS and Azarenka are connected to injuries.

While Jankovic doesn´t have an easy draw, despite all the seeds in her quarter dropping out, she simply has to take advantage of this great opportunity. She would be favoured in every match from here on, except for a semi-final against Serena or Justine.

I'm hoping for JJ, but I wouldn't mind Wickmayer, and I also think that Alisa is due for a breakthrough.
