This FO we've seen some brilliant shot making and some not so much. Which shot should make a player hang their head the most?

Dunno-maybe swinging at and completely missing a really easy overhead?

His backhand has improved drastically since he got with Stefanki, so as a fan of Roddick I dare you to not even go there.

After that Evert-Seles moonball rally, I'm going to have to go with that as the most embarassing. Otherwise, I do laugh when the ball skids and players whiff, because I've done that so many times. Happened to Venus the other day, she glared at the dirt.

I am also a fan of his, and agree it has improved a lot , but I think it is still jerky.

Have you seen Johnny Mac imitate Roddick's backhand?
He looks like he handcauffed.

You dare me? To not go there?
So you want me to go there, which I did.
For a player at that level, his BH is terrible. Improving drastically doesn't mean it's a well executed shot.

double fault is not very embarassing, it's just seen as risky and idiotic. unless it goes way out.

missed drop shot is not as embarassing, it's seen as unlucky, risky, and idiotic.

swinging wildly at a shot is pretty embarassing, but there seems to be an understanding that this happens now and then for some reason. so it's mostly seen as just unlucky.

missed overhead is the most embarassing, not because it is an easy shot, but because it seems like an easy shot, and most importantly, the player who misses the overhead would 80-90% of the time have won the point if the overhead was not missed.
