What do you all think about this?

He also say "Chewdinelli" instead of "Kyudinelli" for Chiudinelli.

Brad cannot pronounce names that are not Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, and Andy Roddick. You just have to accept that from the start. Shaza, OK, whatever. But I don't understand this soft CH for Chiudinelli. I've heard some other announcer pronounce it that way. Maybe the other person (not Brad, he cannot pronounce names) is giving it a French pronunciation, as Chiudinelli is a Swissy. I pronounce in the Italian manner. He's a good looking guy, that Chiudinelli.

So we have Brad giving Sharapova a nickname and that other annoying Aussie know-it-all giving Wozniacki the nickname Sunshine (Woz Woz Woz, is less annoying to me), who next?

Chiudinelli sounds like an italian surname, so it should be Kiudinelli, right?

I would think so, but maybe Swiss pronunciation of Italian names is different?

Brad is very fond of Sharapova, so I assumed this was in an affectionate way.

I know he has trouble pronouncing non-American names abd he often butchered them w/o a sedon thought.

Shaza??? :help:
it's not worse than hantchukova:help: every year at wimbledon, my ears bleed!they can't hear the umpire????:(
also I think that for french people who can read, it's not difficult to pronounce all syllables in pavlyuchenkova or zvonareva...i mean you just have to read:shrug:but some commentators want to speak so fast and they fail each time...
