Garbin played like a club player  she has no power at all and just float shots to middle of court ... even when Caro was at net, Garbin could not pass her because her shots were to slot :spit:

How could Garbin be top 100 ??? How could some player lose to her in 1R :tape:

Shame she couldn't finish it with yet another winner and it happened to end with pushforced error of Tax. Another terrific match. 2 down, 5 to go.

26/37 points won at the net! I can't imagine she was up there THAT much, but she did get up there a lot from 4-1 in the first set when I started watching - so maybe. Still, great match for Caro. She moved well, and Tax's slices and loops were almost too easy for her.

I don't see the next match being too hard for her, playing this way. Players like Na can blow her off the court, but Dulgheru? Caro will have to play bad to lose that one.

Nice to see the injury wasn't bothering her today. But we all know how it comes and goes. Good luck against Alex!

Pretty dominating performance and really just blew Tathiana away. Looking to take control at the net all the time. Just had the drop shots to contend with - but Tathiana overdid them and Caro read them all as the match went on. Nice kisses at the net at the end. But really Caro was a bit of a bully during the match itself. Nothing like a pusher.

You know who she was playing, right? Itīs like I have seen saying for a while. You play the ball to Garbins backhand, go to the net, and you win the point 85% of the time just by standing there. Itīs a real mystery to me, how players manage to lose to Garbin or how she maintains her ranking. Every time I watch Garbin I think: Thatīs how Graf must have played, when she was 9.

Whatever happened to the 'Wozniacki Winners Watch' thread? ...

WD Caro. Garbin didn't play poorly, she was just totally out-played. .. Glad Caro came through this easy. She wasn't her usually sunny, smiling self, but given circumstances no-one of course should have expected that ..

It died after Caroline started hitting on average 18-20+ winners per match after the Aussie Open

Is this an attempt from you to have a serious discussion about Caro's ankle injury or do you just want to troll as usual?

In terms of quality, Caroline's volleys have improved , regardless of who she was playing. The accuracy and angles are definetely better.

First time since Charleston, that Caro wins two matches in a row. Congratulation on a good match. I think Garbin played well but made some easy mistakes and altso they both played well at the same time. Not as dramatic as the Sveta match ofcause :)

I suppose they haven't learnt to count that far.:awww: Her recent performances might have caused an overflow error in haters' heads. Let's hope they will be able to get over it.
