Since become WTA TOP10 in 2nd half of 2007 Ana always plays doubles once per season, but maybe now things will be changed when her new coach is former two-time GS champion in doubles competition. I don't think that she will start doubles more seriously - just more often.
Her new doubles career will begin at Porsche Open in Stuttgart and doubles partner will be German player (with Serbian origins) Andrea Petkovic. In original it should be Kim Clijsters, but she withdraws from Stuttgart event.

Ana and Kim? :speakles: I'm missing out on so much :rolls: They should play at RG or something.
Ana asked Caro to play last year but she refused and then she had to play with Lisicki instead

That unplanned 2010 Stuttgart doubles with Petkovic seems that will turn into permanent partnership for Ana! So after several years pause (w. Kirilenko) we can say now that Ana have again full-time doubles partner in Andrea Petkovic, so its time to re-bump this thread.

Ana and Andrea Petkovic (doubles team already known as Ivanorazzi) last season played just two events and achieve only one win. But this season they start to play more often and much better, so in Miami and Toronto they beat two really strong teams: Strycova/Benesova and Petrova/Gajdosova. Still, they are more famous for theirs winning dances than wins :p, but maybe things will change very soon if they continue with obvious 2011 improvement.

After beating Petrova/Gajdosova, their next opponents in Toronto are TOP4 seeded Azarenka/Kirilenko power-team which this season even played GS final and last title together won just two weeks ago in Stanford! Good luck to Ana and Andrea.
