Conrats to both girls for reaching the finals here in their first even grand slam tourney together!
I hope they'll become a permanent team and maybe next year it'll be their turn!
Go Ai and Kim!

I didn't see much of the match, but what i saw wasn't that interesting i have to say.
But congrats to Ai and Kim anyway!

From what I saw of their doubles matches at Wimb, it seems that Ai alternates between 'off' days & 'top form' days - which really affected their matches. Kim was a lot more consistent, and had to 'save' those matches were Ai wasn't 100%.
Their match against Dokic & Martinez was brilliant to watch, because they're a similar sort of pairing to Kim & Ai.
The difference in the final was that their opponents were a much more experienced & established team, who knew to fire everything at Kim as she was the least experienced in doubles. Unfortunately, Ai also seemed to have an 'off' day on finals day!
It was great that they got as far as the final though, I think it gave Kim something positive to focus on after that rather unceremonious exit from the singles.
