Aga should be default Dementieva. Russian girl don' tlike Aga's style. I hope Aga will be winner, she can do it! Powodzenia Agnieszko! Jesteś w stanie ją ograć:) Do boju!

Elena can not beat pushers, much less with the mood she has this week

Radwanska in 2 or 3 , then she will be outpushed by Wozniacki in SF

Elena can have a shot against almost anyone, but she always struggles with counterpunchers like Radwanska, Wozzy, and Jankovic . I say Aga in 2 or Lena in 3.

Aga should be default Dementieva.
Meaning what, that Aga should not come to play Elena, lose by a walkover? This "default" word is really causing you problems. That's not a big problem, so long as you don't insist against all odds that you know how to use it, this word, that is. Because you don't. So again, what were you trying to say?

Unless Lena blastes some return winners on Aga's weak 2nd serve and Lena's serve itself is good (which isn't likely), Aga will win this in 2.

Frankly, given her "Mommy I'd rather be at a Thrasher's game" attitude all week, I'm surprised Lena's made it this far. I don't know why Lena hates this tournament. Did someone yell ethnic slurs about Russians at her or something? Or was is she still just embarrassed by that spanking TOB gave hergave some other unfortunate blonde that Lena feels sympathy for?

I don't know. But she's ripe for an upset. There's no way she's winning this tournament, even though in true Lena fashion it would get all of her pathetic fanboys like me all worked up and excited just so she could dash our hopes all the harder at the next slam.

I know the reason. It was Lena in 2001 who first suggested that sisters' matches are fixed
She feels guilty

As usual between them: either one can win, even when Lena plays great (as in that memorably remarkable match last Fall). Just hoping for a display of great tennis.

I think elena will win....... her form is getting better and better after every round she has played..... and she seams to be attacking her opponents serve quite well... and radwanska's serve isnt to great so I think with those two facts in place she should win.

Lena for Eurosport:
"I feel like it's on my game, you know. I need really to create something. I need to go for the winner.

"It's not like I'm going on the court and I'm patient, because there's nothing to be waiting for. She doesn't make any mistakes. She moves well. She has a very smart game.

"It's going to be up to me, if I will be able to step forward, take advantage of the short ball and be aggressive the whole match."

Elena will have to play top tennis, because she has no real game to tackle Rads with. Hitting the ball hard up the middle court all day wont cut it. Is she in form to hit lines?

I would never classify Dementieva as a true hard hitter. She lacks the same plateau of sheer raw power of the people who stand before her.

Furthermore, most of them sans Venus and Sharapova, use more spin than Elena which would help her hit through a slower court like Indian Wells more. As it stands, Radwanska cannot be harmed by Elena's mid-paced flat balls with no spin. She's simply untroubled.
