That has got to be the most embarrassing way to die. :hysteric: Same thing happened to David Carradine last year.

Police probe ‘unexplained’ death of Kristian Digby

BBC presenter and director may have died in a tragic accident caused by auto-erotic asphyxiation
BY SOPHIE TAYLOR

Police are investigating the "unexplained" death of BBC presenter Kristian Digby, who was found dead at his flat in Newham, east London yesterday morning.

Digby's body is believed to have been discovered by his ex-partner, a former policeman, at 7.45am. Newham CID are investigating the "unexplained" death, which according to police sources may have been a tragic accident caused by auto-erotic asphyxiation. The Daily Mail reports that a belt and a bag were removed from Digby's flat as evidence.

Digby, 32, was best known for presenting property shows such as To Buy or Not to Buy - although he had also presented The Holiday Show, That Gay Show and Nightlife.

Before becoming a presenter, Digby was a promising director, winning Best Student Film at the Melbourne Film Festival in 1998 for his short, Last Train to Demise. He also won a junior Bafta for Words of Deception in 1997.

It was perhaps inevitable that he should eventually move on to property presenting. He was was born in Devon to a family of property developers and was believed to have amassed a £1m property portfolio of his own.

A BBC spokesman said last night: "Kristian was a much-loved and talented presenter for BBC Daytime. He brought a real sense of energy and warmth to all the shows he presented for us and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time."

Digby's agent and friend Jo Wander said: "I am devastated by the loss. He was a lovely guy and a very talented presenter and director. He will be sorely missed."

How is it embarrassing? He's dead, it's not like he can get embarrassed anymore.

RIP, I liked his over enthusiastic presenting style the odd time I caught him on To Buy Or Not To Buy when not at work.

There have been a few deaths like this amongst children as well (without the erotic part). They think it's a game and aren't aware of the dangers.

That's how Keith Carradine went, too (allegedly). And he was 70+ years old. :help: I don't get it.

Apparently when your brain is deprived of oxigen, it creates a kind of euphoria, similar to when you take drugs.

In France, on average one child a month dies from this. In the US, I read it's about a hundred a year (not even counting all the states).
And that's just the kids.

Adults are more into erotic asphyxiation.

Hopefully he was able to cum before he died. Maybe it would have been worth it in that case.
