Novak Djokovic def. [1] Stanislas Wawrinka
6-7(7) 6-2 7-5
 High UPSET!!! R16 starts with Stan losing first match as number 1! :smash:
Chance for Roddick
Feliciano Lopez is having a somewhat uneven season, with some notable tournaments, the Spanish dont find much direction on their level.
For the second round in Rotterdam, the defeated world number five with doubt the young American by Jonh Isner 76 64 in two hours of play.
The Spanish are measured in the quarter-final against the surprise of the day that Novak Djovick sack tournament world number one.
- I have many doubts in my game, this year I started not very well, I'm lost in some games if I should win or if I put pressure and lose. I'm working hard with my coach for this tournament doing that and want to be my starting point to recover places in the ranking and the circuit to have more presence - said the Spanish

Your welcome. Thanks for winning. I always want Andy to win
Novak Djokovic of Serbia defeated newly world number 1 Stanislas Wawrinka today giving Andy a shot at the Top Spot yet again. Andy who lost his number 1 spot for the first time since back to the NTT beginnings proved once again that he belongs right up there especially after holding 3 of the last 5 slams he entered. On the other hand Novak Djokovic is starting to find form again. After huge amounts of trouble in the last couple of months, it seems Novak found confidence in his flawless shot making. His first matchup was against his fellow compatriot, Janko Tipsarevic, who's serve could have caused Novak a hell lot of problems. After winning the first set 6-4, Novak started to lay back and lost the second set 6-3 after holding a 2-0 advantage in that same set. Breaking Tipsarevic twice  in the final set, Novak walked away with a well deserved victory.
Next up was Stanislas Wawrinka. After loosing the first set in a heartbreaking and breathtaking tiebreaker, history was seemingly about to repeat itself as Novak could have clearly had a look back and tank away a match that seemed out of reach. But that is not Novak Djokovic at all. Novak played probably his best set of tennis ever destroying Wawrinka 6-2, handing him nothing less than three service breaks and surrending only one. The third was as tight as Luba Shumeyko's pussy. Both guys holding serve until 5-5 in pretty convincing fashion. Then the pressure of having to hold the number 1 ranking got to Wawrinka who made 2 DF and missed to easy forehand giving Nole what would be the last break of the match. Next up for Novak will be Feliciano Lopez who's bonuses this week will probably take Novak out of the competition unfortunately but that will be the week that brought him back to the top, well lets hope :scared:.
CONGRATS ANDY ON GETTING YOUR WORLD NUMBER 1 SPOT BACK
The rivalry of James Blake and Andy Roddick continued once again here in Rotterdam. James Blake looked for his first victory against Roddick in a very long time. However, as usual with his chances in both sets Blake buckled while Andy would serve his way to a win in straights. James said, "I know I haven't beaten Andy in a while, but he's been playing well, he really wants that number 1 rank back. I just have to wait for my time to come. Hopefully it won't be long."

Djokovic was close to another upset after leading 7-5 4-2, but lost 6 games in a row and the match. Lopez uses very well his bonus and reaches for another semifinal in career :bigclap:

- I'm returning slowly to be the Feliciano Lopez and I was always in these months I was leaving behind, I'm with many strong, and today more than ever want to win the tournament, I will leave everything in my power to win --
- The match against Novak was rare among well with many advantages and lost 1 set and take away all sense, but a fast reaction, a desire to fight every ball and get the victory won him 57 64 61 and could cry my triumph - said Lopez
