Oct 4th, 2002, 10:18 AM
Very interesting to see how a ref can make himself the most important factor in a match. This was a case for psykologist. how to get attention? Be a football ref, destroy a match and enyoy:rolleyes:

*skulks in*

    OMG!!!

Our defence always goes on holiday at the beginning of the season
and fucking graeme Le Saux pissing around because he hasn't been paid £20,000 - like that's going to make much difference.
we're twats

The sad thing is Viking deserved it. Well done them.

Oct 4th, 2002, 04:53 PM
VBN - remember when i said Le Saux was past it? ;)

Oct 4th, 2002, 04:59 PM
.... yes ;)

He's just a shit stirer :( Babyaro's a pile of wank, I'm still very angry. Hasselbaink was the worst player on the pitch ... and the most expensive.

Bogarde was on the bench! That just shows you how bad our injuries are..

Oct 4th, 2002, 05:19 PM
I think Bogarde and Bosnich are the two most expensive players. They are both on £40,000 a week ! At least Jimmy is out there trying.

Bosnich is 3rd choice goalkeeper and he trains by himself in the gym and is totally not interested in fighting for a place in the team. He's happy to sit in the reserves for the remaining years of his contract and collect his 40 grand a week.

He must be the most expensive reserve player in history !

Oct 4th, 2002, 05:24 PM
well done viking stavanger, i saw parts from the match on eurosport and chelsea was a joke :D

Oct 4th, 2002, 05:28 PM
Bosnich WAS good when he played though.. Not worth £40,000 a week though. Bogarde just annoys me so much, at least Bosnich doesn't come out to the press and laugh at Chelsea for not being able to get rid of him...

Oct 4th, 2002, 05:55 PM
Bogarde is pants, Bosnich was good but too much of a poser

Too many spiritless players

Oct 4th, 2002, 06:27 PM
What a mess, nearly £100 million in debt, shit old expensive players like Bogarde etc that we can't get rid of and no Champions league qualification for the last few years

Where did it all go wrong?

When novice manager Gianluca Vialli was unbelievably sacked five games into a new season.

Vialli may have been a novice but he is in the record books as being the most successful manager in Chelsea's entire history with 5 trophies under his belt.

Can anyone honestly say that things are better now then when he was sacked ?

Oct 4th, 2002, 06:37 PM
It's not better. BUT I believe that Ranieri is doing some long term improvements, just look at Terry, Cole, Huth and to a lesser extent Keenan. Vialli wasn't bringing in enough youth into the team.

Vialli spent a lot of money on a lot of dud players, Casiragi - woah. He was succesful, I think we completely buggered up the 98/99 season when we came 3rd, we could have won the whole thing. I was absolutely pissed off as you can get when Vialli went but without money, look at his record with Watford, not too good.

But the Uefa Cup is a mess, they just go in thinking they're going to win and don't play properly.
