[Acapulco, Mexico]. The Who? What? Where? Tour is back for 2010, and a strong field of players are entered and ready for the second Abierto Mexicano TELCEL presentado por HSBC. Defending champion Anastasia Pavlychenkova is back with a new coach and hungry for title number 2, she opens against Yanina Wickmayer.

Russia is further represented by Maria Sharapova and tour regular Anna Chakvetadze. Great Britian are also set to feature in this years draw with Elena Baltacha, Katie O'Brien and youngster Laura Robson all in the draw. Baltacha will face Chakvetadze, whilst O'Brien battles sole African Selima Sfar, and finally Robson takes on Flavia Pennetta.

There are some very intresting first round matches, and one that stands out is the all American battle between Serena Williams and Lindsay Davenport. Two other Americans are also in the draw, Melanie Oudin takes on Sharapova whilst Marissa Irvin faces the task of Gisela Dulko.

One of the standout players from last year Jelena Dokic is in Acapulco, and she meets Marion Bartoli in the first round. All first round matches will be played on Wednesday.

A strong performance from Marissa, who blew Maria away in the final set.
