I'm going to play against the machine's idea of a 1000 rating. I've never held a rating, but I've beaten players with ratings as high as 1800. A long LONG time ago. Am I going to get my ass kicked? I.e. he started reading chess strategy books and became obsessed with it. LOL I enjoy a game here and there. Volcana Feb 4th, 2010, 05:55 PM Rating 1033 AKA 'Raj' on Chessmaster 7000 went down pretty easily. 38 moves, 5:07. It made what I'd consider some pretty basic oversights, like dropping a rook, so no credit to me. Chessmaster 7000 turns out to be a pretty well-known product, but the current world champion has a rating of 2796, so 1033 isn't exactly an expert. I'm gonna try 1100 and see how it goes. I've never beaten rating 2000 on this program, so I should find my level pretty quickly. Kart Feb 4th, 2010, 07:20 PM I hate level ten on my current chess program.
