Next year, is a new year and a new decade. So much things we leave behind ... rivalries, drama, cry, beauty, pushing , controversy, talent, power, peaks , hands, foot, threats... well...
If you have to choose just one match, the most important one... The one who almost surely changed the history of tennis...
Which One would you pick?

The US Open Semi wasn't even the match of the year. It was controversial, but for quality, the Wimby match with the Czarina of Bangs was much better than the tantrum.

Think about the beginning of time.

Time started at the year 0000, by the end of year 0001 two years had already passed. By the end of year 0009, 10 years had passed.

10 years = decade.

Flummoxed as to why Sharapova/Henin's Aussie Open match is on here.

If we are to include beatings, they're far better ones that trump that match. I've matched this match SO many times, and i'm still yet to see why this match was so greatly hyped and held aloft.

Henin/Capriati @ USO 2003 was an incredible match but it wasn't a final, so I give it an honorable mention.

Now why do you insist on making a fool of yourself by posting this link? You're just proving the opposite point of view.

"The term usually refers to a period of ten years starting with 1 and ending in 0 (Since there was no year 0, the first decade in the Common Era (CE) was 1-10, so ensuing decades all begin with 1 and end in 0). For example, "the 1950s" refers to 1951 through to 1960 (inclusive)."

I peronally liked Sveta vs. Wozniacki US Open 09 the best. Sveta was to win the US Open. She played by far the best tennis. Wozniacki playing her best tennis of life stopped her. But the quality was amazing.

I voted for Capriati vs. Henin US SF 03
Henin vs Venus USO 07 also good.
I heard Serena vs Dementieva Wimby 09 SF was also good. Serena 20 aces..and still MP down. Imagine Serena lost a match in which she hit 20 aces. and like one DF
