She will need a bit of luck with her draws, but, last year, Iva only had one win during the carpet season. This is normaly her favorite time of year and as long as she wins one or two matches in each tournament she plays, she will probably be near or inside the top 20 and will qualify for LA!

ummm top20 has nothing to do with it.
lemme find the rankings that matter...
She needs to make up around 200 points to get in. It's only the first 16. Don't forget, there's no defending points here, it's just adding. She needs to get around 200 points more then the galls ahead of her to clinch that spot. It's going to be very, very hard. A couple of wins is not going to do it. Another Porsche would. :P

lol@the Porsche comment :p
Anyway, I think its too hard to make it. She has to win an event to be in the running and quite frankly I dont think she will. I can still hope though ;)
Re Zurich....I thought she was playing  She has quite a few points to defend there (90+ I think) cos last year she came through qualifying and beat ASV (then in the top 15 I think) in round 1. So I would be quite baffled if Iva didnt play there....its such strong field chances are she'll have to go through qualifying again...or get a WC :p

Does Coetzer have a special ranking or something?! She's before Iva on both Filderschtad(sp) and Zurich, and the rankings are supposed to be those of 9/9/02. :/ I'm baffled.
